Hello. I’m Brian.

I have had the privilege to work with Brian now twice in my career. Currently, he is serving as a Digital Media Designer at the City of Scottsdale and producing major graphics projects for the city as well as serving many of the internal department needs. Our annual city budget book has won several awards for clarity and design, thanks to great teamwork and a great design.

In addition, Brian has taken on a leadership role to define our city brand and create branding guidelines and standards. He is currently leading two different teams through exercises to develop our brand.

Brian brings a corporate outlook to a government environment and finds ways to improve our processes. His professionalism, talent, and desire to seek out solutions have been a great asset to the city.

Brian was a true mentor. From day one he not only understood my abilities, goals, and aspirations but did everything he could to support my professional growth. When reviewing my work, he always explained in detail what aspects of my designs and strategies didn’t quite mesh with the overall brand and why. He then went the extra step and taught me the exact processes needed to make the necessary adjustments.

Brian always promoted new ideas and collaboration. This allowed me as well as our marketing department to use our creativity and excel. It also increased department productivity, resulted in better quality, and led to more effective messaging overall.

Brian’s creative leadership and ability to develop talent are unmatched. He is a tremendous asset to any company.

Brian is an excellent leader with a strong creative vision. He is thoughtful, proactive, and able to get the job done. He builds and mentors great teams. Brian brought a balance of fun and creativity to the workplace that made me enjoy coming to work and I highly recommend him.

Brian brought me onto Seacret’s marketing team in May of 2015 and I had the pleasure of reporting to him during our time working together. It was my first job out of college and he took a chance on me, which has ultimately led me down my career path to this day.

He helped push me to grow as an email marketing/web designer through his detailed feedback and willingness to listen to my own ideas. The collaborative environment he pushed for made working in his team an absolute joy and allowed his team to foster lasting connections and friendships with one another.

Brian has been the most influential mentor I’ve ever had and I’m so hopeful to work with him again in the future. In the meantime, I consider Brian a great friend and a skillful creative mind.
